Mundy

Mundy was born Edmond Enright in the rural town of Birr, County Offaly. In 1993, at the age of 18 Mundy moved to Dublin to take his place on the energetic busking circuit. It was during this period and in the midst of heartbreak that Mundy penned some of his greatest hits including, ‘Gin & Tonic Sky’ & ‘Life’s A Cinch’. These stirring tracks quickly secured Mundy a place on the roster of Sony’s Epic records as well as a publishing deal with Warner Chappell Music. Mundy’s first album ‘Jelly Legs’ was released in October 1996 to critical acclaim and went on to sell 50,000 copies. However it was his visceral debut single ‘To You I Bestow’ that garnered most attention after it was licensed to appear on the soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s ‘Romeo & Juliet’, this bestselling soundtrack went on to sell 11 million copies and introduced Mundy to the world. Mundy has since gone on to release a further eight albums creating his own flavour of acoustic, folk-based pop/rock through his own record label ‘Camcor Records’ which he set up in 2000. His album Raining Down Arrows went straight in to the Irish Charts at number 1, he has enjoyed gold and multi-platinum record sales and has picked up a number of awards including the Meteor Music award for ‘Best Male’ and ‘Most Downloaded Song’ 2 years running for his rousing rendition of ‘Galway Girl’ featuring Irish traditional musician Sharon Shannon. Mundy’s music has allowed him travel the world supporting some of the greats; Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams, Emmylou Harris, R.E.M, Oasis, White Stripes, and the Pogues to name a few. Mundy was invited to perform for perhaps his most prestigious audience to date, in the White House for president Barrack Obama as part of their St. Patricks Day celebrations. Stewart Agnew

One of Ireland’s most refined singer songwriters, Stewart Agnew, emerged from his self-imposed musical exile this summer clasping a clutch of glorious ear-worms to his chest in the shape of his fourth album, Into the Black Hills. Dundalk based, Stewart has played live with everyone from Ron Sexsmith (who guested on Songs from the Gasstation album) and Duke Special (who guests on this new album, Into the Black Hills; sharing writing credits and lead vocals with Stewart on [track 10] Rain Down Diamonds) to Mick Flannery, Beth Orton, Josh Ritter, Justin Townes Earle & Gemma Hayes. Into the Black Hills album campaign has gifted us twelve glorious new songs including the highlight singles Ghost Town; the first single; and more recently Rain Down Diamonds, which is a co-write with Stewart and his good friend and fellow artist; Duke Special. The album was produced by and indeed some of the tracks also co-written by Stewart and his long-time collaborator, Phil Wilkinson (Duke Special, Iain Archer, Foy Vance, Snow Patrol), who also produced and arranged the album. This year marked a very special year for Stewart; not just for the release of his beautiful long awaited new album, Into The Black Hills, the campaign for which has been punctuated with some very special live performances including the Spirit Store which kicked off the album campaign last March. Stewart’s live performances also took in The National Concert Hall in Dublin which housed the album launch show, the summer welcomed a special stripped back show at the infamous Ruby Sessions (Gavin James, Hozier, Ed Sheeran, Freya Ridings and fellow Louth man James Vincent McMorrow amongst many other home and international greats have performed here also), then this Christmas. Stewart kicked off his Christmas celebrations with a hugely special show at The Sugar Club, Dublin earlier this month. This new show announced for May 2025 at The Spirit Store is a full band show and likely to be preceded by new music to radio and we also anticipate some very special guests on the night. If you have not experienced Stewart Agnew and his band live to this point, this is your chance and on home turf! While an accomplished writer and musician himself, for his live shows Stewart is in the idyllic position of surrounding himself with friends who also happen to be some of the finest Irish musicians around! Duke Special

By nature, Duke Special (aka Belfast's Peter Wilson) is a curious person. He is curious about music, theatre, books, poetry, art, love, life, redemption, death and 78RPM records. All of this is evidenced by the variety of musical adventures throughout his career, such as releasing 17 albums and EPs, touring extensively throughout the world, writing for theatre, and teaching songwriting and performance at BIMM University, Dublin. Performing live is still one of Duke Special's main passions. Whether he performs solo, as a duo with his long-time friend and percussionist Chip Bailey, with a full band, a string quartet or orchestra, a Duke Special show is always a unique experience. Duke is currently working on a new album.

Luka Bloom

In 1972 Barry Moore wrote a song called WAVE UP TO THE SHORE. Not his first song, but it had something. He did some gigs, wrote some songs; and in 1987 he boarded a plane for New York, and Luka Bloom was born. Riverside was released in 1990 on REPRISE Records. It was followed by THE ACOUSTIC MOTORBIKE, AND TURF. During the early 1990s the life of writing, recording and touring took off. The US, Australia, Germany, Holland, Belgium, Switzerland, and The UK are frequent destinations for Luka's songs. As well as his own touring, he has performed at some of the great festivals: Pinkpop (Holland); Roskilde (Denmark), TorhoutWerchter (Belgium), Newport Folk Festival (US), Byron Blues Festival (Australia), Glastonbury and Cambridge, (UK). And most of all, he regularly sings all over the island of Ireland, where he lives in County Clare. Since 2000, Luka has been releasing his own songs and music via www.lukabloom.com 17 independent albums in total, as well as a book of photographs and some lyrics called HOMEPLACE. In 2022, Luka was singing Wave up to the Shore at home one afternoon. He suddenly realised it was 50 years old. And this resulted in a triple cd of 50 songs from the past 50 years. Ireland's premier tribute to the Supergroup Fleetwood Mac, bring you on a magical musical journey from the Peter Green blues era to the multi-platinum selling Anglo/American band that still tour today. Seán Mc Cluskey

Seán Mc Cluskey is a Drogheda-based musician and composer known for his eclectic blend of jazz, folk, and contemporary soundscapes. After a hiatus from performing and writing with the electronic outfit We Eat Electric Light, Seán returned to the stage with a new collection of songs that explore themes of love, mortality,the smelly underbelly of society and council estate dadaism. His latest video includes Olive, a haunting and heartfelt portrait of an important person, recorded live, up an alley in Rathmullan Park, Drogheda. Seán will be joined by a killer band in, Ógy Collins (keys), Tadhg Leahy (guitar), Gene Carolan (bass), Ants Kierans (drums), and Caimin Hall (fiddle). His live shows are marked by improvisation and a fusion of diverse musical styles.

The New Leaves

The New Leaves, like so many contemporary music projects, emerged from the post-pandemic wilderness. The New Leaves consists of four childhood friends from Warrenpoint County Down, Northern Ireland – who blend lush, three-part harmonies, nature inspired lyrics and modern folk aesthetics. The four members came together to breathe life into an expanding songbook written by McKay, who attempts to capture the natural beauty, history, and mythology of homelife beneath the Mourne Mountains and the beautiful townlands that surround Carlingford Lough. Philomania

Since the 1990s, PHILOMANIA has played out of love for Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy. They are the house band every year at the sold-out King’s Call event in Stockholm, performing for an audience of 1,000 people. Philomania has previously played in Ireland and even spent time with Phil Lynott’s mother, Philomena, who was both a friend and a big fan of the band.The band is made up of professional musicians from Stockholm.

Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers

Formed in 1999 in Cork, Ireland, Pontious Pilate & The Naildrivers came about because of their love of the energy, message and fun of ska and punk music. They have also been writing, performing and independently releasing their own music for a number of years now, to a loyal and growing audience. As well as their own headlining events, they have shared the stage with such luminaries as The Undertones, Bad Manners, The Skatalites, The Beat, Stiff Little Fingers and The Selector. Festival appearances include: Electric Picnic, Sea Sessions, Spraoi, Cork Jazz Festival, City of Derry Jazz Festival, It Takes A Village, Irish International Ska & Reggae Festival.

Daoirí Farrell

Martin Harley

Martin Harley has been making music and touring the world for over two decades. His sound has never been more down to earth. Exploring roots, blues and slide guitar in a style The Guardian referred to as ‘Spellbinding’, Harley has released nine albums to date, four recorded on home soil and four across the Atlantic in Texas and Nashville. Martin's solo shows are known for mixing excellent musicianship and songwriting with a down to earth sense of humour and tales of 3 decades of world travel. An evening of storytelling with Tommy Tiernan & Martin Shaw Storytelling is a way of talking about the stranger side of life. There's a secret history of the world hidden in a fairy tale. Tommy Tiernan and Martin Shaw are setting out on adventure and inviting you to come with them. Not stand-up, not literary recital, this is a kind of dreaming with your eyes open. It's a world where you get lost on the way home from the fair, or a cow becomes a hill, or a woman has a fox tail hidden under her skirt. All of this is happening all the time, and Tiernan and Shaw are bringing the tales to prove it. Over 16's show There will be an interval 45mins into the show THIS EVENT IS A PHONE-FREE SHOW WHAT IS A “PHONE-FREE SHOW”? Just as it sounds. John Colleary

The best.” - Tommy Tiernan Apart from being one of the most in-demand comics in the land, John Colleary has also co-written and starred in IFTA nominated shows, The Savage Eye (RTÉ2) and Irish Pictorial Weekly (RTÉ One). Other TV credits include appearances on Stand & Deliver (Live from Róisín Dubh) and The Panel (RTÉ2). A talented actor and mimic, John featured as one third of The Gusset Brothers on The Tommy Tiernan Show (RTÉ One). He has also scooped an PPI Award for his topical sketch writing and performance on Today FM’s drivetime flagship, The Last Word; and is a favourite at Ireland’s top comedy clubs and festivals. John toured with Tommy Tiernan in 2022 and 2023 and performed to tens of thousands of comedy fans up, down and around the country. His first solo show LOUD & COLLEARY went nationwide in Autumn 2023, followed by the HEAD LIKE A SHED tour in 2024. Jagged, heavy, and unrelenting, it demands the truth, whether it comforts or cuts. R.E.M. by Stipe

R.E.M. formed in 1980, in Athens, Georgia and by the mid-nineties earned the tagline ‘the biggest band on the planet’ from the music press. They pioneered the alternative rock scene with relentless touring and a distinctive sound and entered the 90s mainstream without compromising their artistic vision. They remain as relevant today as ever. Their music is instantly recognisable: ringing guitar lines, tasteful and clinical drumming, melodic bass, and sublime harmonies coupled with poetic (and political) lead vocals. Kerry. His much-anticipated third album, The End, is officially announced and due to arrive on September 5th via Strap Originals, a label forged with love by Pete Doherty of The Libertines. In a statement from the label, Strap say: “We’re beyond excited to have this extraordinary Irish artist join our label. One of the most unique and powerful voices out there.” Junior Brother shared his excitement about the signing, “I'm delighted to be bringing my record "The End" out on such a great label - I look forward to sharing the same roster as such favourites as Peter Doherty, Real Farmer, Warmduscher and loads more. Excitin' times ahead!” Following the success of his 2024 single Take Guilt, Junior Brother offers another taste of his upcoming LP with Small Violence, a powerful track that addresses the growing influence of misinformation and the escalating wave of conspiracy-fueled hatred. Speaking about the new track, Junior Brother says: “Small Violence follows a character pulled in by a small few who enjoy using violent words to stoke real violence further down the line. The intro riff was heavily inspired by the Opening Titles of “The Blood on Satan's Claw”, a Folk Horror from 1971 which I highly recommend to anyone except the sensible.”

In a society where traditional values are fading and uncertainty prevails, his works emerge as a search for lost individuality and authenticity. Navarro merges traditional portraits and geometric elements with precise brushstrokes to deconstruct the human face, questioning the commodification of the individual. His abstract and geometric portraits represent the complexity of the modern being, inviting the viewer to reflect on the artificiality of identities imposed by society and current technologies.

The Muddy River Band

Back by public demand! ... a well known catch phrase you'll see on posters and bill boards. Well, in the case of the Muddy River Band it couldn't be more true. Following on from their last highly successful show at the Spiritstore Feb. 2025, "The Muddies" are coming back for another what is sure to be a terrific show. "What could be better than performing to an enthusiastic audience and singing the songs of your musical hero!" So says Muddy River Band member Willie Headon who along with fellow musicians and singers Pete Kavanagh and Pat Silke perform the songs of their respective music icons Neil Young, Bob Dylan and Van Morrison.
